Textile Change is a Danish company pioneering chemical recycling of complex textile waste. Our patented, modular process enables the separation and purification of polyester and cellulosic fibers from blended and contaminated textiles. By using recyclable solvents and advanced preprocessing steps—including dye, PFAS, and elastane removal—we transform textile waste into virgin-quality raw materials. NewRetex NewRetex AS (Denmark)

NewRetex is a Danish innovation company pioneering automated textile sorting technologies that enable high-precision classification and traceability of non-reusable textiles. Our mission is to accelerate the shift toward textile-to-textile recycling by providing advanced solutions for sorting by fiber type, color, and garment components at industrial scale. UJEP – Univerzita Jana Evangelisty Purkyne v Usti nad Labem (Czech Republic)

Established in 1991, Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem has eight faculties, 9000 students, and 1100 staff members. UJEP is the most modern scientific and educational hub in the Usti region. The Faculty of Environment is the oldest environmental faculty in the Czech Republic. The faculty provides comprehensive education in environmental protection, chemistry and materials, landscape revitalization, and waste management, enabling an effective integration of interdisciplinary teaching.
The faculty’s main research fields include environmental, sustainable chemistry and technology, circular economy, new materials and sensors, applied ecology, natural and anthropogenic factors supporting biodiversity, and geographic information systems for landscape reconstruction. Over the last five years, the faculty successfully participated in many projects with a total budget of external funding of ~7 million EUR. The faculty collaborates with many domestic and international industrial partners.

CuRe – Cure Technology BV (Netherlands)

CuRe is a technology startup that is currently active in scaling a chemical recycling process for hard-to-recycle polyester waste streams up to a commercial scale. There is currently a 30kg/h (or ~3 tons per week) pilot plant that is being operated continuously in 3-shifts from Sunday night until Friday evening where the process is being optimized.
T4E – Textile4Ever B.V. (Netherlands)

Textile4Ever B.V. is focussed on textile-to-textile recycling, making sure no used textile has to go to waste. By working close with textile collectors and sorters, as well as by having an exclusive license on the CuRe Technology, Textile4Ever aims to build recycling hubs close to where the textile is collected, recycle it with the lowest possible carbon footprint and cost and bring it back into new textile with spinning partners around the world

Wonneberger-Manufaktur is a medium-sized German sewing company specialising in stretch and technical fabrics. We offer design concepts, pattern development/grading, cutting, sewing, special textile joining techniques in one-off production and up to 10,000 pieces.
